Hamilton takes win in Australian GP
The Gaffer
Lewis Hamilton stormed to victory in the Australian GP leading every lap. With a depleted starting grid some managers may have struggled to score points with all of their drivers. Kevin Magnussen, Daniil Kvyat , Valteri Bottas, Will Stevens, Roberto Merhi and Fernando Alonso all failed to start and as a result will score no points.
There were great showings from both Saubers, rewarding any managers who kept their nerve and held on to what looks like a quick car, both delivering great points per pound. The Toro Rosso team also looked quick, but reliability with all Renault powered teams looks questionable at this point in time. Jenson Button dragged what appears a sluggish McLaren to a credible 11th place, picking up points for a number of managers. The McLarens are expected to go quicker as the season progresses but have you got the patience to wait for the results that their price tag warrants.
Points have all been updated and you will be able to start making changes to your team ready for Malaysia from Wednesday.Expect a few changes to the site over the next couple days, we will be launching the results view for your team management tomorrow showing a more granular breakdown on how you scored your points.
With any luck there will a be few less surprises with the starting grid next time out.
